Coffee Lume is an independent editorial website operated by Gül Toyoğlu, an individual based in Türkiye. For the purposes of applicable personal data protection law, Gül Toyoğlu is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with Coffee Lume.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data may be processed when you visit or interact with Coffee Lume, why it may be processed, and the rights available to you.

Coffee Lume is currently designed to collect as little personal data as reasonably possible.

We do not currently provide:

• social media or advertising pixels.

When you visit the website, limited technical information may nevertheless be processed automatically as part of normal website hosting, security and delivery. If you choose to contact Coffee Lume directly by email, we may process the information you voluntarily provide, including your email address, name if provided, the content of your message and any information you choose to include in the correspondence.

The website and its email service are hosted using Hostinger infrastructure. Hostinger may process limited technical information relating to website visitors where necessary to provide hosting, security, email and related services.

Coffee Lume also uses Cloudflare for DNS, proxy, security and performance-related website infrastructure. Because website traffic passes through Cloudflare’s network, Cloudflare may process limited technical information such as IP addresses, request information and security-related data where necessary to provide these services.

These service providers operate their own technical infrastructure and process information in accordance with their applicable contractual and privacy frameworks.

Depending on the infrastructure used by hosting, email or other necessary technology providers, personal data may in some circumstances be processed or stored outside Türkiye.

Where a processing activity involves an international transfer of personal data, the applicable requirements of Turkish personal data protection law, including the rules governing transfers abroad, apply.

Coffee Lume does not currently transfer visitor information abroad for advertising, profiling, behavioral analytics or marketing purposes.

Coffee Lume does not currently use analytics, advertising, marketing or behavioral tracking cookies or pixels.

The website platform, hosting infrastructure or security functionality may use strictly necessary technical cookies or similar technologies where required for website administration, authentication, security or essential operation.

These technologies are not used by Coffee Lume to build advertising profiles or track visitors for marketing purposes.

Because Coffee Lume does not currently use non-essential tracking technologies, the website does not presently operate a marketing or analytics cookie-consent system.

If analytics, advertising, affiliate-related tracking or other non-essential technologies are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy and the website’s consent mechanism will be reviewed and updated before those technologies are activated where required.

• request notification of certain correction, deletion or destruction actions to third parties where applicable;
• object to certain results produced exclusively through automated processing; and
• claim compensation where damage is suffered because personal data has been processed unlawfully.
